journey was the last track i made for this EP, despite the placement. it was about the night when i finally realized my gender identity.

lifetime is about a walk home i had in the dark one day. i felt like something would come out and attack me, especially since i live in an unsafe area. i chose to make a heavy trap beat with a lot of buildups to reflect on the stress i had during that night..

star river was the first single i ever made. i made it when i wanted to express my feelings about my sexuality and gender through music. although beautiful at the surface the song doesn't mean that at all. the same applies to my internet name mirroredcomfort, which is not a fusion of two porter robinson songs but rather an inversion of my comfort with my body and mental stability. ... more
